07/01/2019: Assailants attacked security posts in Kajran district, Daykundi, Afghanistan. At least 41 people, including six soldiers and 35 assailants, were killed and 16 others, including 13 assailants and three soldiers, were injured in the attack, which lasted until July 2, 2019. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
