Incident Summary:
07/13/2019: An assailant armed with incendiary devices and a firearm attacked the Northwest Detention Center along 1600 East J Street in Tacoma, Washington, United States. The assailant threw incendiary devices at vehicles and attempted to set fire to buildings and a propane tank before being shot and killed by officers at the facility. Willem Van Spronsen, an unaffiliated individual, claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that "detention camps are an abomination."

Criteria
Criteria 1
