07/16/2019: Assailants detonated explosive devices and opened fire on a police patrol in La Ermita, Norte de Santander, Colombia. Two police officers were killed in the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected the involvement of the National Liberation Army of Colombia (ELN).
