07/18/2019: Assailants abducted three civilians from their homes in Veeravaram, Andhra Pradesh, India. All three hostages were beaten before two were shot and killed, while one was released on the same day. Maoists claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the victims were targeted because they were police informants who were involved in the deaths of their members.
