07/30/2019: Assailants attacked soldiers in Beni Shiek, Borno, Nigeria. This was one of three incidents in Borno over a 24 hour period. At least nine assailants were killed in the attack and it is unknown whether there were any other casualties. The Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), claimed responsibility for the incident.
