07/31/2019: Assailants set fire to a ward office in Gaindatar, near Chandrapur, Province 2, Nepal. An explosive device was also planted at the office and defused at a later time. There were no reported casualties in the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Communist Party of Nepal - Maoist (CPN-Maoist-Chand).
