08/04/2019: Assailants attacked Jeremiah Omilewa, a pastor at the Living Faith church, along Kaduna-Abuja highway in Kaduna, Nigeria. Omilewa was killed and his wife and son were abducted in the attack. His son escaped the same day and his wife was released on August 8, 2019. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Fulani extremists.
