08/05/2019: Assailants detonated a remote-controlled explosive device targeting a military vehicle in Niag, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Two soldiers were killed and four soldiers were injured in the blast. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State separately claimed responsibility for the attack.
