Incident Summary:

08/14/2019: Assailants attacked government positions in Mammanti, Borno, Nigeria. Three soldiers and an unknown number of assailants were killed and an unknown number of soldiers and assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).
