Incident Summary:
09/14/2019: Assailants launched drones and missiles targeting the Saudi Aramco Abqaiq oil facility in Abqaiq, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. There were no reported casualties; however, the facility was significantly damaged in the attack. This was one of two coordinated attacks on Saudi Aramco oil facilities on this day. Houthi extremists (Ansar Allah) claimed responsibility for the incident; however, the United States and Saudi Arabia accused Iran of carrying out the attacks.
