Incident Summary:

09/30/2019: Assailants attacked Mirza Hussain Sarosh along Kabul-Ghazni Highway in Salar, Wardak, Afghanistan. Sarosh, the Ghazni security command civilian deputy head, was killed in the incident. This was one of two similar attacks in Salar within 24 hours. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
