10/21/2019: Assailants attacked and stole the vehicle of Alexander Botello, a mayoral candidate, in Convencion, Norte de Santander, Colombia. There were no reported casualties in the attack. This was one of two attacks on Botello in one week. Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) dissidents claimed responsibility for the incident.
