11/11/2019: Assailants abducted Ali Mainassara in Boni, Anzourou district, Tillaberi, Niger. Mainassara, a local village chief, was killed and his body was discovered the following day, November 12, 2019. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State in the Grand Sahara (ISGS).
