Incident Summary:

12/01/2019: Assailants ambushed an army convoy of reinforcements sent to security outposts after a previous attack on on the Kunduz-Khan Abad Highway in Bagh-e-Miri, Kunduz, Afghanistan. At least 12 people, including four soldiers and eight assailants, were killed and six soldiers were injured in the incident. This was one of two attacks on the same posts over 24 hours. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incidents to the Taliban.
