12/01/2019: Assailants attacked the National Directorate of Security department in Baharak district, Takhar, Afghanistan. Two people, including the deputy district chief and one pro-government militia member, were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
