12/01/2019: An explosive device detonated targeting an Iraqi Volunteer Forces vehicle in Naft Khanah, Diyala, Iraq. Two soldiers were killed and four were injured in the blast. This was one of two attacks on Iraqi Volunteer Forces personnel in Naft Khanah on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
