01/09/2020: Assailants attacked a military base in Chinagodrar, Tillaberi, Niger. At least 166 people, including 77 assailants and 89 Nigerian soldiers, were killed and an unknown number of other people were injured in the attack. The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) claimed responsibility for the incident.
