Incident Summary:

01/15/2020: Assailants armed with knives attacked a government official and his family in Bukokoma, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Eight people, including the government official, his wife, their five children and one neighbor, were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed it to the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDLR).
