01/19/2020: Assailants attacked humanitarian aid workers on the Maiduguri-Monguno highway in Gajiram, Borno, Nigeria. Four workers, including a pastor, were killed and two others were abducted in the attack. The outcome of the abduction is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected the involvement of Boko Haram.
