01/20/2020: Assailants attacked a market in Nagraogo, Sanmatenga, Centre-Nord, Burkina Faso. At least 32 people were killed in the assault. This was one of two related attacks in Sanmatenga on the same day. At least three other people were injured across both attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Muslim extremists.
