Incident Summary:

01/23/2020: Assailants opened fire on two off-duty soldiers on the National Highway of Central Glad in Midsayap, North Cotabato, Philippines. One soldier was killed and another soldier was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM).
