Incident Summary:

01/26/2020: Assailants attacked an Army camp in Sokolo, Segou, Mali. At least 20 soldiers and four assailants were killed and five soldiers were injured in the attack. Additionally, at least three soldiers were abducted. One hostage escaped as of February 13, 2020 while the fate of the other two hostages is unknown. Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM) claimed responsibility for the incident.
