02/05/2020: Assailants armed with knives and firearms attacked protesters and set fire to tents at al-Sadrain Square in Najaf city, Najaf, Iraq. At least 11 protesters were killed and 121 other people were injured in the incident. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Saraya al-Salam.
