Incident Summary:
02/08/2020: Assailants raided Gurmana, Niger, Nigeria. This was one of three related attacks targeting villages in Shiroro district on this date. At least three people were killed and 50 people, including civilians and vigilante members, were injured in the assaults. At least 200 cattle were also stolen. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources suspected that the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) carried out the attacks.
