02/12/2020: Assailants opened fire on police forces in Aglobong, Iloilo, Philippines. In addition to an unknown number of assailant casualties, at least one police officer, Captain Efren Espanto Jr, was killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
