02/16/2020: Assailants attacked Birao, Vakaga, Central African Republic. At least 12 assailants were killed as security forces and MINUSCA peacekeepers repelled the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Popular Front for the Renaissance of the Central African Republic (FPRC).
