Incident Summary:

02/18/2020: An explosive device detonated near Dervish forces outside Qooqaani, Lower Juba, Somalia. Assailants then opened fire on the soldiers. At least two soldiers and eight assailants were killed and two other assailants were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Shabaab.
