Incident Summary:

02/23/2020: Assailants in the Gaza Strip fired at least 20 rockets, at least 10 of which were intercepted by the Iron Dome Missile Defense system over Nir Am, Southern, Israel. There were no reported casualties in the attack. Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in retaliation to the killing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) member Muhammad al-Naim and the "ill-treatment" of his body by an Israeli army bulldozer.
