Incident Summary:

03/02/2020: Assailants stopped a vehicle and abducted six people in Gutguti, Assam, India. Five hostages were released shortly after the kidnapping and the final hostage was rescued on March 8, 2020. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to a breakaway faction of the Bru National Liberation Front (BNLF).
