Incident Summary:

03/04/2020: Assailants armed with rocket-propelled grenades and firearms attacked Nigerian soldiers at an army barracks in Damboa, Borno, Nigeria. At least 22 people, including three soldiers and 19 assailants, were killed and 47 soldiers were injured in the assault. The Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) claimed responsibility for the incident.
