Incident Summary:

03/22/2020: Assailants attacked a security outpost in Khak Chopan, Kandahar, Afghanistan. This was one of two related incidents in Maiwand on the same day. At least 19 people, including four police officers and 15 assailants, were killed and three other officers and 17 assailants were injured across both clashes. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Taliban.
