Incident Summary:

04/22/2020: Assailants attempted to abduct individuals of the Tarabin tribe in Wadi al-Sirr, South Sinai, Egypt. The abduction attempt was unsuccessful and an unknown number of assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State.
