Incident Summary:

04/23/2020: Assailants opened fire on security outposts in Laman, Badghis, Afghanistan. At least 15 people, including 13 local police officers and two assailants, were killed and another police officer was taken hostage in the ensuing clash. The outcome of the abduction is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed the attack to the Taliban.
