Incident Summary:

04/29/2020: Assailants set fire to the departmental high school in Logobou, Est, Burkina Faso. The school guard was shot and killed in the attack. This was one of two related arson attacks in Logobou on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources suspected the involvement of Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM) or the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS).
