Incident Summary:

05/05/2020: Assailants detonated an explosive device and opened fire on joint Iraqi Volunteer Forces and police personnel in Rashad, Kirkuk, Iraq. Four people, including three volunteer fighters and a police officer, were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
