05/09/2020: Assailants set fire to a phone tower along the Southern Expressway (M2) in Morphett Vale, Onkaparinga district, South Australia, Australia. There were no reported casualties in the attack. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to conspiracy theory extremists and suspected the incident was related to a conspiracy theory suggesting an unsubstantiated link between 5G radio waves and the COVID-19 pandemic.
