05/14/2020: Assailants opened fire on security forces at a checkpoint in Sarak-e-Naw, Herat, Afghanistan. At least one person was killed and four others, including two police offficers and two civilians, were injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
