Incident Summary:

05/28/2020: Security forces opened fire on a suicide bomber in an explosives-laden vehicle attempting to drive past a checkpost in Rajpora, Jammu and Kashmir, India. There were no reported casualties in the attack, as the assailant fled the scene and the explosives were safely defused. Sources suspected that the assailant intended to target a Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) convoy later the same morning. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attempted attack to Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
