Incident Summary:

05/28/2020: An assailant armed with an AK-47 style rifle opened fire targeting the 3rd precinct police station in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. No casualties were reported in the attack. The police station was the scene of a concurrent protest where it was set on fire. Ivan Harrison Hunter, member of the Boogaloo movement, claimed responsibility for the incident and stated "I helped the community burn down that police station” and “I didn’t’ [sic] protest peacefully Dude … Want something to change? Start risking felonies for what is good." Sources noted that Hunter was in contact with Steven Carillo, another member of the Boogaloo movement, and encouraged him to "go for police buildings."
