05/30/2020: Assailants raided Kompienga cattle market and opened fire on traders and civilians in, Kompienga, Est, Burkina Faso. At least 35 people were killed and several more were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Muslim extremists.
