Incident Summary:
06/09/2020: Assailants attacked a Special Joint Security Units (USMS) training center between Bouar and Wantiguere, Nana-Mambere, Central African Republic. At least five assailants were killed and 17 security forces personnel were injured in the ensuing clash. This was one of two coordinated attacks in the area on the same day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Return, Reclamation, Rehabilitation (3R), which denied involvement.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
