06/15/2020: Assailants set fire to a communication tower in Agua Dulce, Yapacani, Santa Cruz, Bolivia. There were no reported casualties in the attack. This was one of four related incidents in Yapacani on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities suspected that the incident may have been motivated by a conspiracy theory suggesting an unsubstantiated link between 5G radio waves and the COVID-19 pandemic.
