Incident Summary:

06/23/2020: Assailants attacked Chah Ab district, Takhar, Afghanistan. During the assault, the assailants fired a mortar targeting a civilian residence. One civilian was killed and another was injured in the blast. In addition, the assailants abducted and killed a former jihadi commander from a mosque. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
