06/24/2020: Assailants abducted 10 Action and Impact Programme in the Sahel (APIS) aid workers while they were distributing food in Bossey Bangou, near Makalondi, Tillaberi, Niger. The hostages were released on July 1, 2020. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to Muslim extremists.
