06/27/2020: Assailants armed with grenades and firearms attacked a military escort of a civilian convoy along Maiduguri-Damboa road in Dogon Waye, Borno, Nigeria. At least 10 soldiers and 20 assailants were killed and other people, including civilians, were reported missing in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to Boko Haram.
