Incident Summary:

06/27/2020: Assailants attacked a vehicle carrying employees of Fenix Construction Services, a firm working on a Liquified Natural Gas Plant project, near Mocimboa da Praia, Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. At least eight workers were killed, and three others were reported missing. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected the involvement of Ansar al-Sunna (Mozambique).
