Incident Summary:
07/03/2020: Assailants attacked a road construction site in Hinalaan, Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat, Philippines. In addition to an unknown number of assailant casualties, at least one soldier was injured in the ensuing clash with security forces guarding the site. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Far South Mindanao Regional Command (FSMRC) of the New People's Army (NPA) and stated that the group had demanded "protection money" from the company.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
