Incident Summary:

07/06/2020: Assailant abducted Jomar Ignacio Engayas, a Manobo tribe member, while he was harvesting coconuts in Libas Sud, San Miguel, Surigao del Sur, Philippines. Engayas was shot and killed shortly after the kidnapping. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
