Incident Summary:
07/12/2020: Assailants attacked a security outpost in Daraz Grd, Shinwari, Parwan, Afghanistan. This was one of three related incident in Shinwari on the same day. At least seven people, including four soldiers and three assailants, were killed and one other soldier injured while the assailants sustained an unknown number of casualties across all three attacks. Three soldiers were also reported missing after the attacks. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Taliban.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
