07/19/2020: Assailants attacked security checkposts and fired rockets at the district governor’s office in Anarjoy, Kapisa, Afghanistan. During the clash, two mortars fired by the assailants struck a house, killing two people and injuring nine other people. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
